Reader Request Week - 2012

I've read a lot of blogs in my time. My favourites, the ones I check daily, are:
  • The Ferrett, whose opinions were a huge part of my formative years, and my all closest friends are probably sick of me bringing up. He writes about sex, polyamory, bee-keeping, and writing.
  • The Pervocracy, who I've been reading for a few months, and my girlfriend is definitely sick of me bringing up. She writes about sex, sex-positive feminism, sex, and the world of 'kink'.
  • Neil Gaiman, who I've read, on-and-off, for many years and always enjoy, largely because I envy his life. He writes about himself, writing, and his marriage to Amanda Fucking Palmer.
  • Shamus Young, who is such a good writer that even though I have no interest in video games, I keep up with his video game-based blog. He also writes about his life, programming and (back in the day) Dungeons and Dragons.
  • MightyGodKing, who is Canadian, and again so talented that I read his blog on a topic I don't find interesting: comics. (he also writes about film news, TV news, board games, and Canadian politics
  • John Scalzi, whose blog is the reason I'm posting this. He writes about writing, American politics, sunsets, cats, and his family living in a small conservative town when he is neither small nor conservative.

Every year, John Scalzi does a "reader request" week - he asks for topics to blog about, to get him writing about something other than his usual fare, and he will. I don't have usual fare, but I'm keen to get back into blogging, so I thought I'd do my own "reader request" week.

My life has undergone a lot of changes since I stopped blogging, and so this will also be a good opportunity to catch everyone up on anything they want to be caught up on. I can't think of anything that I don't mind the world in general knowing about, so there's no topic off-limits (if you find one, I'll probably delete your comment and message you privately.)

So ask me anything, anything at all, and I'll write about it. Leave a comment with anything in my life that you want an update on, or anything in the world that you'd like my opinion on, and I'll write as many blog posts as I find time for.

Comment here, email me, message me, upload a YouTube video of you singing the topic…it's all good!
I was going to send you a message the other night, actually. Mostly I want to know about your penis. Have things changed for the better/worse?
What, in your opinion, is the craziest thing you've done since you stopped blogging? What about the thing you regret the most? If they're the same, pick something different!
